And Shinzaki would've been a great opponent for him to go up against. I'm sure these two would have had a fantastic match against each other, but Jinsei Shinzaki wins every single time. The guy was ruthless and would rip Hardy limb from limb. Jeff's really tough, so it'd take a lot for Shinzaki to finish him off, but he'd eventually do it, I guarantee it. Tastycles Turn Bayley heel.

Hardy has been a world champion and has beaten some big named stars clean, and is totally at hme in a spot monkey environment, and would therefore win this match.

Weapons mainly Ladders would help Jeff win. Sure Hakushi would put up a great fight but would he use the ECW venue the right way? I don't think so. Plus Hardy could just run, climb something and then jump at it. Joined: Jan 8, Messages: 17, Likes Received: 3, Hakushi the other night and it was a great match.
However, I could easily see Hardy doing the exact same thing on a neutral playing field. Not to mention, Hardy is a drug addict. How does that not fit in perfectly with the ECW audience? They'd love him. This goes to Hardy, who has the resume, the talent to go with Hakushi move for move, and the experience. Team Finnley Baylor.

To me, Jerry Lynn is honestly the Shawn Michaels of the independent circuit. That's how good he is, in my opinion. However, as good as Lynn is, I say he's the Shawn Michaels of the independent circuit.
Shawn Michaels is not the Jerry Lynn of mainstream wrestling; he's just Shawn fucking Michaels, aka one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time. And trust me Jerry Lynn's been in some classic and downright brutal matches, but he's never had anything the likes of Hell in the Cell against The Undertaker, like Shawn had. He's never been in the ring with Vader. He's never gone an hour with Bret Hart.
He's never had a ladder match against Razor Ramon. Lynn just doesn't win this match. He puts up a great, great fight and the match ends up being tremendous, but at the end of the day, Shawn Michaels gets his hand raised.

Joined: Jun 16, Messages: 2, Likes Received: 1, I could be convinced otherwise, but after having to go against Slyfox to help get him into this round, I have to against Lynn here. Lynn is great, but Michaels is a multiple time world champion and the list of people he has beatn is far more impressive. The gimmick nature of ECW is certainly no problem to Michaels who has fought in many over the years, so Michaels wins here.
Joined: Jan 8, Messages: 17, Likes Received: 3, Yeah Shawn wins here. Lynn is a poor man's Shawn Michaels. Lynn was at his best in ECW, but Shawn is the kind of guy that would have been a star anywhere. He could have easily adapted to the ECW enviroment and done exceptionally well there also.
It's a damn fun match to watch, but I'll give it to Shawn in about 25 minutes. Joined: Nov 3, Messages: 3, Likes Received: Jushin Thunder Liger 7. Brock Lesnar Jeff Hardy Jeff Hardy. Joined: Jan 8, Messages: 17, Likes Received: 3, Hardy, it's been nice knowing you. You are about to die. Jeff has absolutely no chance here. Lesnar killed him more than once, and if you throw him in a match where everything is legal, Jeff will be begging for a third wellness violation. Shawn vs.
Brock is nothing short of a dream match. I don't care how big Brock is, he can get kicked in the jaw and pinned. He was a tank, but can he beat Shawn? I don't know. I could easily go for either of those two. It all comes down to who is left. A wildcard could throw this off, but I can't see anything other than a Minnesota vs. Texas showdown at the end. TM Throwing a tantrum. Joined: Mar 16, Messages: 2, Likes Received: Brock is a fucking Boar here.
He has smashed Hardy in the ring, and will do the same to Shawn. Brock has the ability to kick out of the superkick, so Shawn will be needing to work on Brock before being torn apart. TM , Feb 21, Danmen Championship Contender. Joined: Dec 16, Messages: Likes Received: I don't care how much of a supposed tank Brock is.
He is a tank, without a brain. Shots to the groin possibly with weapons , and rake to the eye with barbed wire, he can be taken down. And Jeff can do that. Jeff my not be all Brock is body wise, but he's FAR smarter than Brock, and with his almost unmatched gimmick experience, he'd be knowing enough to hit him in the groin, and rake him in the eye. He can do that. The fact that people are even considering Brock over Hardy in extreme rules, when Jeff in his prime is far superior to Brock in extreme matches, is quite sheepish.
Vote Jeff Hardy. Khalifa likes this. Quite Sheepish??? How in the hell is that possible. Brock Lesnar has a pay per view over not one, but two Hardy Boys, and in the same match, and that was Brocks first pay per view. I fail to see how Jeff Hardy, the wreckless throw my body around guy, has any chance in hell against someone like Brock.
You know what happens when someone throws their body at Brock, Brock catches that person, lifts them on his shoulders, and F-5s them to hell. So long Mr. Khalifa Where it at doe? Joined: Jul 26, Messages: 1, Likes Received: This is probably the dream match of the century here. I fail to see how Jeff Hardy would die as well. So they would eaisly team up here and take Lesnar out a run in or something.
I fail to see how Lesnar could win with Hardy in an extreme rules matches and HBK just doing what he always does. I honestly see HBK coming out and winning this match. Joined: Jan 8, Messages: 2, Likes Received: Why is everyone so close to jumping on the "Hardy v. Lesnar" train, anyway?
I'm not even convinced that Hardy will advance that far. Hardy, up until about a year ago, was tag-team mid-card talent I just don't really see how that adds up.
