Went into Holloway store Saturday. Nice clean store , friendly staff. Spoke too a guy called Steve , was not looking too place an order at the time which I was upfront about. Was expecting Steve too lose interest. I'm looking for flooring throughout my apartment. Not sure what I want , vinyl, laminate, wood or carpet.
I have to give it too Steve he was extremely patient with me , explained everything. I will be returning with my partner when he returns from working abroad. Great store excellent service. Hopefully when we come in Steve will be on shift. This was completed for carpet and vinyl throughout the flat. I visited the store to place my order and changed to laminate everywhere. Steve who took my order said I would not need as much as the measurements are different for laminate. He worked out 18 boxes to cover everything.
As the fitter was near completion he said there is not enough to fit in the toilet and they told him at the store that it's not on the plan. He offered to fit it for me free of charge as it was the stores mistake, if there was enough. I called the store and asked Steve what happened. He claimed that the estimate was correct and the fitter should go back and collect 1 more box. I told him no as it's their mistake and not the fitters.
When I asked to speak to a manager I was told that they were too busy. Great service and huge selection of flooring. Bought carpets from there last month and service was so good we went back to order vinyl for the kitchen.
These guys in Holloway are brilliant and full of character.. I spoke to Karim who was very professional and helped me through my process.. They have a good range of products and all the staff are very helpful! Thumbs up to Carpetright Holloway ;. I would just like to say that after being into the store several times before making my purchase I can honestly say that my experience on all occasions was first class, I was served by different staff members on each occasion and the level of service was fantastic covering all my queries and concerns.
After reading reviews i think the best option is visit them and you will see for yourselves because it only takes 1 upset person to leave a bad review yet they must deal with a vast number of customers on a daily basis. Brilliant place to shop. They also have parking in the rear which helps as the area is difficult to find parking. I had wood from the shop which was fitted also by them.
They provide an estimate service so you do not pirchase excess materials.. Amazing store. Great selection of luxury vinyl flooring. Steve went out of his way to ensure we had the chance to match the right vinyl finish with our flat and we were very happy with the service.
It was my place of work for many years and I'm expected to visit every couple of months even though I retired in Really got some good help from staff that seem really interested in us the customer to get the right product.
Can not recommend this store enough. Customer service is key when managing a client's expectations and I am demanding. From start to finish my experience with CarpetRight Holloway has been seamless. I had two consultations before my home visit extremely punctual and I was glad for the visit as the gentleman gave valuable advice which could not have been known instore.
My third trip to the store was a complete rethink and Ashton was patient, helpful and reassuring I had a previous bad experience.
All I can say is his confidence in his team is well placed. My fitter Aman Preet Singh was punctual, professional, asking at each stage of the fit three rooms was I happy and telling me what he was doing next. He even added a strip of beading for me and would not hear of payment.
Not only am I happy with the product but my faith in the brand has been restored. I have already recommended to my neighbours. Congratulations on your hard work! Impossible to reach and hung up on me twice! Waste of time if u are looking for a quick and easy carpet change. Wouldn't recommend to anyone unless u have all the time and patience in the world to save a few quid.
Absolute cowboys and robbers, totally incompetent! Not one thing went to plan, after complaining after a lot of damage was caused to my property, the manager thought it was a good idea to ignore me. Avoid this store at all costs!!! To cut a very long story short I had some hiccups up along the way however the overall experience with Carpetright was a good one.
Having read the reviews below especially the one which mentioned Steve I was obviously a little wary and honesty hoped he would not be the one to serve me. As I entered the shop, who was the first person to greet me To my surprise Steve was very friendly, helpful and more importantly extremely professional in the way he dealt with me as a customer.
Steve went out of his way to help find the prefect carpet and laminate flooring as quite frankly I had no clue what sort of carpet was best for my home and he didn't just pick out the most expensive either.
Thank you Steve! Aston store manager well what can I say As stated above I had a few hiccups along the way, however Aston was quick to sort out the issue and kept me update along the way. Thank you Aston! They were friendly very funny too yet professional. They answered any questions I had and I had a lot and worked their butt off to ensure I was happy.
Thank you Paul and Mark! So to conclude, would I use Carpetright Holloway again Very busy store, they sell all types of flooring including beds.. I went into store and all the colligues was busy however they offered me a seat until someone was available..
The staff accomadated me and all my needs.. I read the reviews before going to the store as I was unsure from the feedback but the experience contradicts what they have wrote as I had nothing but a good experience in the shop. Thank you. Don't even bother. No surprise why they are closing their stores.
No help all they want is your money. Waist of money as it's a shame they can not cut according to the exact dimension provided and very bad as the excess goes to the dump and doesn't help the environment.
The service in store is good and the prices are decent. However, the fitter that came to our place to install the carpet was far from good:- Didn't confirm the goods installed or what needed to be done.
Carpetright's invoice is also very confusing, with fees that are very opaquely named. Also, when I was told I had paid everything in full, I was asked to pay again for the fitter later Turns out it was not included in the initial quote.
I saw Steve at Holloway branch. My experience was good and i was promised a lot of things but all was changed when I handed over the money. On top of dealing with steve the con artist, the thug fitters are a complete joke.

The workdone had lots of lines of bubbles making the carpet surface hilly uneven with fluffs.
Door bar workmanship was also poor. The quality and standard for the workdone were unacceptable. I contacted the Holloway Store whose fitters carried out the remedial work. Unfortunately, the fitters have spilt the glue on the carpet during work which seriously damaged the carpet. The fitters tried to clean up the glue spilt but unsuccessful. The texture of the newly fitted carpet was damaged by cleaning.
