Before the attendees and artists were formally asked to leave Grant Park, Palomo expressed sorrow for having to shorten their set because he was being told that he had to. Neon Indian did manage to play the hit "Polish Girl" right before an announcement was made that the park was being evacuated, though, which a lot of fans were thankful for. After they stopped playing, Palomo came down to the barrier of the crowd and began shaking hands and signing a few things from fans before everyone was being escorted out, and being able to shake his hand was a pretty great experience for me - we had to leave, regardless, and it was a very nice gesture from him.

I had listened to them one day on Pandora and instantly fell in love with Polish Girl , the rest was history. I live in Columbus , Ga which is like an hour and a half drive to Atlanta. So I looked up the tour and they were coming to Atlanta and right then I purchased tickets and bust into my roommate's room and started dancing and screaming that I'm going to see Neon Indian!

The performance was AH-mazing! I was super close to the stage and the venue was intimate enough that you didn't feel so far away from the band and that they didn't want you there. I danced all night long and hope to see them in the future and meet them personally. I would gladly do this again! So so great! I saw him in New York at Wesbter Hall almost a month ago, and he topped that fantastic concert!

Vega Intl. Night School is a fantastic album, such a departure from his moody breakup album Era Extrana, and it's groovy and so dancable. The Philly concert had a few less people, but they were all dancing! Alan had little, in his words, "factoids" that he would say inbetween songs, and would really connect with everyone.

I'm sad to say it's the last American show he's doing for a while on his world tour, but I'll definitely be seeing him for his next round on the east coast!
