Next section. Chapter Contents. If you wish to cancel this contract, you may cancel by delivering or mailing a written notice to the company. The notice must be delivered or mailed to. It is designed to protect consumers from high-pressure sales tactics in locations other than a store or showroom.

Some people believe they are allowed this protection for any purchase, but they are not. If a dealership intentionally misled you into purchasing a car, either through false advertising, failing to disclose the full price or terms of financing, or misrepresenting the accident history or condition of the vehicle, or any other form of fraud, you may have a case for returning the car for a full refund.

Saturday is considered a business day, but Sundays and federal holidays are not. You have a right to change your mind. Within 20 days, the seller must either pick up the items left with you, or reimburse you for mailing expenses if you agree to send back the items. If the seller gave you any items, you must make them available to the seller in as good condition as when you got them. Under timeshare law, notification must be sent in writing to the seller. The date of cancelation will be the date in which the letter is mailed.
