Denver yazoo bbq

Worth the trip!!! This review is for the owner. I would want to know if my restaurant was in the ditch like this place is. I used to love this place. In the last 6 months they have had employee turnover and the food has been off ever since.

I have been coming here for 10 years and always get the rib tips. The sides have never been good but the BBQ has always been great. Although the meats are fantastic, the sauces are required to stay at a sideboard table. Since you may end up carrying multiple items on a tray, this can be unwieldy and inconvenient for anyone with a disability.

Worse, the dispenser for the little plastic cups are single use, and not biodegradable, the same as the utensils.

Adding to this, I think their ordering system needs improvement as they often have a line and anyone ordering pickup for their office can halt everything. A triage style of approach with a good POS would resolve the situation. In any case, go for the BBQ. Be prepared to wait. The guy behind the counter seemed kind of sad but other than that we have nothing but raving reviews to give this place.

The ribs were fall-off-the-bone nicely smoked nicely sized good for the money ribs. The potato salad was to die for. The coleslaw was very good. We would eat there again in a second. Soooooooooo very happy you guys are back! I was checking everyday. Only truly delicious BBQ place in all of downtown and surrounding areas.

Item on the menu is tasty af. Do yourself a favor and order Yazoo on Postmates now!!!! Some good bbq out of denver their hot sauce was spicy but delicious.

I had bought the half chicken with baked beans and the potato salad emaculint. My husband spoke so highly of the food so we went today. Customer service was lacking at times rude. Dry hotlink and chicken wings. Nothing was fresh!!! Fantastic BBQ at a great price. Stopped in for Lunch and luckily we got there early because this place filled up fast. I got the 1lb BBQ rib tips with two side special and it was amazing.

I reccomend sitting on the patio upstairs. Great ambiance and good beer selection. Don't miss this BBQ hotspot. It's good. I'm from the south so my expectations of BBQ are very specific. I think, Yazoo does fine. The meats are good but lacking some seasoning. The sauces are mediocre, particularly the vinegar sauce which I think is very meh. Sides are pretty good though.

All around solid for Denver but that's not a high bar. Best BBQ in the city. Hands down. Try their chopped brisket with their "gold" sauce. Also they have an awesome upstairs patio and full bar. Parking can be difficult but totally worth it. One of my favorite places in Denver!! Really good. Fast service. We ordered the Wings, ribs and rib tips.

Every kind of bbq sauce to fit your preference. Plenty of seats for groups. This is the best bbq I have found in Denver. They have a decent sized menu, lots of sauce options including a gold sauce.

Definitely stop here if you're downtown and looking to grab some brisket. The blonde kid at the register is kind of a creep, but the rest of the staff is very knowledgeable and professional. Pretty standard barbecue menu. The staff was super friendly, sauces were good and the wings were well cooked AND delicious, the only thing is that they were "hairy", but that is what's leftover from the removal of small feathers, not hair.

I normally burn those off because to some they are visually unappealing ;. Cheese potatoes were dope. Slaw, Meh. The barbecue is grate. The staff are funny and seems awesome. Bar an eating areas are awesome as well. Everything is always amazing. Potato casserole and potato salad are the best!!

Flavor was decent, but everything was dry and tough. This place is fantastic. Good BBQ, friendly people, solid beer selection, and Ty, the upstairs bartender was absolutely top notch not to mention a great photographer.
